TAKE THE SNAKE BY ITS TAIL

EXODUS 4:2–3 So the Lord said to him, “What is that in your hand?” He said, “A rod.” And He said, “Cast it on the ground.” So he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from it.  God wants to take the natural things in your life and make them supernaturally blessed. He does this by asking you to give Him what you already have in the natural, and He will do the supernatural. That is why the Lord told Moses to cast his rod on the ground. And when Moses cast his rod on the ground, which represents him giving the rod to the Lord, that same rod became the rod of God. With that rod, the Red Sea was opened. (Exodus 14:16) And when that rod was used to hit a rock, water flowed out of the rock. (Exodus 17:5–6) It was no longer a natural rod, but the supernatural rod of God! But why did the rod become a serpent when Moses cast it to the ground? Moses never realized that there was a “snake” in his rod. You see, because of the fall of man, there is a touch of the cu

The Weapon of the Spirit

EPHESIANS 6:17 NKJ 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; A soldier needs a weapon. In Bible days a sword was the most effective weapon available. Today we have machine guns and other sophisticated weapons. But there is no weapon more powerful than the one God has provided for His children: the Word of God. To help you grasp this better it may help to remember that this whole universe came into existence by God releasing words. To realize how much power is in God's Words, you have to understand how much power God has. All the power of God is behind His Word. Once He has spoken something, God never changes His mind but causes His Word to be fulfilled. So don't lightly esteem the Word of God and think it is not a powerful weapon. You just need to learn how to use it -- the same as with any weapon. There are spiritual forces arrayed against us. But God has not left us without all we need to live in safety and vict

I Will Be A Father To You

2 CORINTHIANS 6:18 NKJ 18 "I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the LORD Almighty." You may not have been blessed with good earthly parents. But you are blessed with a wonderful, perfect Heavenly Father! Earthly fathers may fail us, but Scripture reveals that our Father God is much better than any earthly parent. God is perfect, and He never fails!  MATTHEW 7:11 NKJ 11 "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!  ISAIAH 49:15 NKJ 15 "Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you. You will face problems in life, but no matter what you face, your Father God will be there to take care of you. What did God mean when He promised to be a Father to you? A father is someone stronger, more capable, and more knowledgable tha

BORN AGAIN TO HAVE DOMINION

GENESIS 1:26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”  When God made man, He gave man dominion over everything on earth. To have an idea of the kind of dominion that man would have had had he not sinned, let’s look at the perfect Man, Jesus Christ. When Jesus wanted to pay the temple tax, He only needed to command a fish to bring the money to Him. (Matthew 17:24–27) When He wanted to feed a multitude, He only needed to multiply five loaves and two fish in His hands. (Mark 6:34–44) When a storm threatened the lives of His disciples, He only had to speak to the storm and there was perfect calm. (Mark 4:35–41) And every sick person who was brought to Him went away healed. He even brought the dead back to life because He had dominion over death!  Today, you have the same dominion

YOUR PROBLEM MUST BOW TO JESUS’ NAME

PHILIPPIANS 2:10 …at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,  Whatever is troubling you, if it has a name, it must bow to the name of Jesus! Cancer must bow to the name of Jesus. Poverty must bow. Shame must bow. The Bible tells us that God has highly exalted Jesus and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee must bow!  That is exactly what happened when a severely demon-possessed man saw Jesus. The demons in him—called Legion for there were many of them—not only begged Jesus not to torment them, but they also fled when Jesus commanded them to go. The man was left whole, healed and in his right mind. (Luke 8:26–35) My late father was similarly delivered from his drinking addiction of many years. I remember how he was in a drunken stupor one day. I prayed over him in Jesus’ name for him to be loosed from his addiction to alcohol. He threw up violently soon after th

Do Business For God

LUKE 19:13,15 ESV 13 Calling ten of his servants, he gave them ten minas, and said to them, 'Engage in business until I come.' 15 When he returned, having received the kingdom, he ordered these servants to whom he had given the money to be called to him, that he might know what they had gained by doing business. Your working life is supposed to be for more than just meeting your needs. Your work is an avenue God can use to bless people in many ways. You should use all that you have been given: your influence, your contacts, your profits, to bless people and turn them toward God. Many people won't listen to a pastor or TV preacher, but they will listen to someone they know and contact in daily life. You don't have to be a pastor or a priest to walk with God and be used by Him.  Think of Abraham, David, Moses, and Daniel. Not one of them was a preacher or a priest. Instead, they were all involved in agriculture or government, what we consider as secular jobs. Ye

Should Christians Use Their Imagination?

2 CORINTHIANS 4:18 NKJ  while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. Many Christians are afraid of using their imagination, equating it with evil. But God surely had a reason to make mankind with an imagination. Once, as I was thinking about this, the question came to me, "Why did God create man with an imagination?" I do believe He is the Creator, don't you? And God did make man with an imagination.  When I asked God if there was any scriptural support for using our imagination, it occurred to me to look in Hebrews 11. As I began reading the chapter I was shocked at what I found, even though I had read it many times before! Right in verse 1, faith is defined as ". . .evidence of things not seen." I thought, "If it is something you can't see, then it has to deal with the realm of the imagination." People w

Selfishness Is The Opposite Of Divine Love

PHILIPPIANS 2:3-4 NKJ 3 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. 4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. Selfishness, not hate, is the opposite of divine love. All the problems in the world today are the result of selfishness. The problems in our governments and with our economies are all the result of selfishness. The problems in our families are the result of selfishness.  JAMES 3:16 TEV 16 Where there is jealousy and selfishness, there is also disorder and every kind of evil. The answer is for each of us to desire the best for others, even to the point of sacrificing our own benefit to see others blessed. This describes divine love. That's how Jesus lived. His aim was to benefit others, not to please Himself. Jesus suffered so we would not have to suffer. This love is a commandment for all Christian believers. But this command

DON’T SWEAT IT, REST!

RUTH 3:18 Then she said, “Sit still, my daughter, until you know how the matter will turn out; for the man will not rest until he has concluded the matter this day.” God does not want you to “sweat”. Sweat here does not refer to your body’s perspiration, but your self-reliance or self-effort. God does not want you to believe that if you don’t do anything, nothing will happen. That may be true for someone without God in his life, but it is not true for you because you have God. And when He is in the picture, the God-factor changes everything!  When you are resting in God, He works for you. In fact, when He works, you end up with more. He is the one who is giving to you. It is not about you trying to give to yourself. This was what happened to Ruth in the Old Testament. After laboring in the barley fields from morning to evening, she was able to glean one ephah of barley (Ruth 2:17), which was equivalent to a 10-day supply of barley. Certainly, this amount was a blessing to her.

BORN TO DIE SO THAT YOU MIGHT LIVE

LUKE 2:12 And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.” You are probably familiar with the story of Jesus’ birth in Bethlehem. The Bible says that when the time had come, Mary “brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger”. (Luke 2:6–7) But have you ever wondered why the angel told the shepherds that the Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger was a “sign”? A manger is actually a feeding trough for livestock. Do you know what a feeding trough in those days looks like? I have seen a similar one at Solomon’s stables in Meggido, Israel. It is basically a big rectangular block of stone with the trough hewn out of it. So baby Jesus, who was wrapped in swaddling cloths, was placed in such a stone trough. But why was that a sign? Because if you have seen the empty tomb of Jesus at a place called The Garden Tomb in Jerusalem, you would have noticed that the place

FIX YOUR EYES ON GOD’S UNSHAKABLE WORD

PHILIPPIANS 4:19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. People of the world feel helpless as the systems of the world go up and down. They turn on the television and they hear, “This war will plunge the world into a recession.” They open the newspapers and they read that “Unemployment is at an all-time high”. Beloved, God does not want you to feel helpless because you are not of the world. (John 17:16) You are of God and therefore need not be subject to the world’s systems. Whatever the world’s situation is, fear not because “God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus”.  Notice that Philippians 4:19 says that “God shall supply all your need”. It does not say that God may supply some of your needs. It also says that God will do it “according to His riches”. It is not out of His riches. If a millionaire gives you a hundred dollars, it is out of his riches. But if he gives to you according to his

Peace On Earth

LUKE 2:13-14 NKJ 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: 14 "Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!"  Peace? On earth? Who are you kidding? Earth is filled with strife and violence. What were the angels talking about? What could their message mean, on that night so long ago, when they appeared to the shepherds outside of Bethlehem? Even Jesus made it clear that His first coming to earth was not for the purpose of bringing peace on earth.  LUKE 12:51 NKJ 51 "Do you suppose that I came to give peace on earth? I tell you, not at all, but rather division. Then what were the angels rejoicing about? What was the big deal that night in Bethlehem? They were speaking of peace between God and man, not peace among mankind.  ROMANS 5:1 NKJ 1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, And that is why we can rejoice and celeb

YOU ARE NEXT!

PSALM 50:10 For every beast of the forest is Mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills.  Suppose you have just heard of someone whose financial debts have been miraculously cleared. Or your elated friend has just told you that despite being an average student in school, he scored straight As in all his subjects. Perhaps on Sunday, you heard a newlywed couple share about how they won an all-expenses-paid trip for two to Hawaii, or how a once-childless couple is now expecting their miracle child.  When you see or hear of others being blessed, do you ever wonder when it will be your turn? Or do you even find yourself saying, “Oh, he got blessed with the very thing that I have been praying for. There goes my blessing.” Now, just because man’s economy operates on the principle of shortage, it does not mean that God operates in the same manner. So the next time somebody gets blessed, tell yourself, “I won’t be disheartened. I won’t be jealous. I am the next one to be blessed!”  Alw

We Are Brothers And Sisters

JOHN 17:23 NLT 23 I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me.  Jesus indicates there is something about the unity of believers that will cause the world to believe. This does not mean we will ever agree on every doctrine, or that we must all join the same church denomination. No! God is a God of diversity who makes every snowflake and every person unique. God does not expect us all to think and be alike. But God does expect us to obey His law of love. We should walk in love and respect one another. Really we should do that toward all people -- how much more those in God's own family, our brothers and sisters in Christ.  We will never agree on every detail of everything simply because we are all learning and growing. None of us knows everything yet. We are like the Apostle Paul and only know in part. JOHN 17:21 NKJ 21 "that they all may be one, as You,

SEE YOUR SITUATION THROUGH GOD’S EYES

PSALM 1:3 He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.  When darkness covered the face of the earth, God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. (Genesis 1:3) When a certain man paralyzed for 38 years lay helpless at the pool of Bethesda, Jesus said, “Rise, take up your bed and walk,” and immediately, the man was healed, took up his bed and walked. (John 5:8–9)  You don’t say such words unless you see something others don’t. God does not see the way man sees. Man, however, must see the way God sees. We must see the vision of the Almighty. The prophet Balaam saw the vision of the Almighty when the Spirit of God fell on him. As he looked down from a mountain at the camp of the Israelites, he found himself saying, “How lovely are your tents, O Jacob! Your dwellings, O Israel! Like valleys that stretch out, like gardens by the riverside, like aloes p

Love Means Giving

John 3:16 KJV 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave . . . You can give without loving, but you can't love without giving.  When you love you will give of your time, you will give of yourself, and you will give of your resources. Those who truly love, hold nothing back. The measure of your giving reveals the measure of your love. Love is something we can't see, but we can see the evidence of love in the action it produces, which is giving. If you love someone you will also give them forgiveness. Love causes you to be merciful, understanding, and forgiving. Where you give your time and resources also reveals what you love. If we think we love someone, yet never give to them of our time or resources, then we are just deceiving ourselves. There are many people in each of our lives who need and deserve our love. Jesus Christ is the most deserving of all! SAY THIS: My giving reveals my love.

Throw Your Cares On The Lord

1 PETER 5:6-7 NET 6 And God will exalt you in due time, if you humble yourselves under his mighty hand 7 by casting all your cares on him because he cares for you.  Worry is associated with pride, as these verses reveal, for being humble is the opposite of pride. And pride will, sooner or later, cause you to fail, instead of lifting you up. A person who worries is proud because their action shows they think they are better and more compassionate than God. When you analyze it, the thinking behind worry is really "God is not doing a good enough job taking care of me, so I better take over and figure something out on my own."  Pride makes us think we can handle things on our own -- apart from God. Jesus said that without Him we can do nothing -- at least nothing that amounts to anything. (We certainly can mess up all by ourselves.) One way to humble ourselves is to just put our lives in God's hands and trust Him. It's like getting in a car someone else is drivi

Fear Not!

LUKE 8:50 KJV 50 But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole. The KJV Bible tells us 63 times to "fear not," and 31 times to "be not afraid" or "not be afraid." Obviously, God is trying to tell us something very important! Fear is the opposite of Bible hope. Bible hope is a positive expectation based on and supported by a belief in God's Word. Fear is a negative expectation based on and supported by a belief in something bad. Both involve the imagination, the seeing part of our thinking, the ability to visualize something before it happens. Fear results from the absence of faith in God. Fear is fed by faith in the devil. Fear is the opposite of trusting in God. Faith in God produces Bible hope -- expecting good to happen. Faith in bad things produces fear -- expecting bad to happen. Faith is the support, the foundation, the underlying thing under both hope and fear. You cannot have hop

YOU HAVE A STRONG KINSMAN-REDEEMER!

JEREMIAH 50:34 Their Redeemer is strong; the Lord of hosts is His name. He will thoroughly plead their case...  Ruth, a young, poor and childless widow in the Old Testament, lay at the feet of Boaz, her potential kinsman-redeemer. (Ruth 3:7) As a rich and close relative of her in-laws, Boaz had the power to redeem her from her plight. Ruth was simply obeying Naomi, her mother-in-law, who had told her to go and lie down at Boaz’s feet. In the Jewish custom of those days, this was a posture which said, “Please redeem me for you are a close relative.” Notice Boaz’s response to Ruth: “And now, my daughter, do not fear. I will do for you all that you request…” (Ruth 3:11)  Beloved, Boaz is a picture of Jesus who is our kinsman-redeemer. He is our kinsman, having been born into this world as one like us. And He is our Redeemer because He redeemed us at a great price when He shed His blood for us on the cross. As your Redeemer, not only is Jesus willing, but He also has the power to

JESUS’ AUTHORITY HAS BEEN GIVEN TO US

MATTHEW 28:18–19 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore…  When God created man, He gave man authority to have dominion over everything on earth. (Genesis 1:26) But when man sinned, he gave this authority to Satan. And when man’s authority was transferred to Satan, Satan brought in diseases, poverty, strife, bitterness, pain, loss and death. He messed up everything on earth for man.  “Pastor Prince, why didn’t God just grab the devil by the neck and throw him out of the garden?” God did not do that because He is a judicial God. It was a man who gave away his authority to Satan. So it had to be a man who would legally take it back. And God has done this through a Man. His name is Jesus! By His death on the cross, Jesus righteously restored all that man had lost.  That is why, just before He went back to heaven, He said, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore…” Those w

PRAY UP YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM!

1 CORINTHIANS 14:4 He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself…  Many Charismatics believe that when you speak in tongues, you edify or build up your spirit man. Well, that is only one-third true. The Bible does not say that the speaker edifies his spirit. No, it says that the speaker “edifies himself”. This means his entire self—spirit, soul and body. So he who speaks in tongues builds up his spirit, soul and body. Does this include building up your immune system? Yes, it does! Brain specialists at Oral Roberts University’s hospital found out through research and testing that when a person prays in tongues, his brain releases two chemicals that are directed to his immune system, giving it a 35 to 40 per cent boost. Interestingly, these secretions are triggered by a part of our brain that has no other apparent activity and which is activated only when we pray in tongues.  Now, your immune system is your first line of defense against diseases. During the SARS outbreak in Singa

God Is A Genius

ROMANS 11:33 KJV 33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!  ROMANS 11:33 NLT 33 Oh, what a wonderful God we have! How great are his riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his methods!  AMOS 4:13 LB 13 For you are dealing with the One who formed the mountains, made the winds, and knows your every thought; he turns the morning to darkness and crushes down the mountains underneath his feet: Jehovah, the Lord, the Lord Almighty, is his name."  JEREMIAH 10:12 LB 12 But our God formed the earth by his power and wisdom, and by his intelligence he hung the stars in space and stretched out the heavens.  ISAIAH 28:29 NIV 29 All this also comes from the LORD Almighty, wonderful in counsel and magnificent in wisdom.  PSALM 147:5 NIV 5 Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit.  PSALM 104:24 LB 24 O Lor

Abraham's Blessings Are Yours

GALATIANS 3:13-14 KJV 13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.  Galatians tells us Christ redeemed us, so that the blessing of Abraham might come upon us. What were the blessings Abraham enjoyed? GENESIS 24:1 NIV 1 Abraham was now old and well advanced in years, and the LORD had blessed him in every way. GENESIS 13:2 KJV 2 And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold. Abraham's blessing also extended to his descendants as they walked with God. GENESIS 25:11 KJV 11 And it came to pass after the death of Abraham, that God blessed his son Isaac; and Isaac dwelt by the well Lahairoi. GENESIS 26:12-13 NIV 12 Isaac planted crops in that land and the same year reaped a hundredfold, because the LORD blessed him. 13 The man

JESUS’ BLOOD SPEAKS BETTER THINGS

HEBREWS 12:24 to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.  Today, forensic science tells us that blood has a voice. DNA can be extracted from just one small drop of the murderer’s blood and the results used in court as evidence. So blood in a sense can speak. And when it is the blood of Jesus, it “speaks better things” than that of Abel. Abel’s blood cried out, “Vengeance! Vengeance!” after his brother Cain murdered him. (Genesis 4:8–11) But Jesus’ blood cries out forgiveness for our sins, healing for our bodies, and peace and soundness for our minds. It cries out protection for our coming-ins and going-outs, good success for the works of our hands, the righteousness of Christ as our acceptance before God and much more! In the Bible, Jesus’ blood speaking of “better things” is found in the context of the last days when things are being shaken, so that the things which cannot be shaken will remain. (He

Focus On God

2 CORINTHIANS 4:18 NIV So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.  Many people are convinced they are too bad for God to help, or they have problems that are too big for God to handle. They seem to have more faith in their inability than they do in God's ability. They seem to have more faith in the problem than they do in God. This happens when we focus on the problem, instead of looking to God who is the solution. As long as we focus on the problem and let it consume our attention, we will have faith in it to defeat us.  1 JOHN 4:4 NIV 4 . . . the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. We have a choice in what we focus our attention on. The Old Testament contains an account illustrating how we must look to Jesus and His finished work on the cross, instead of looking at our problems.  NUMBERS 21:4-9 NLT 4 Then the people of Israel set out from Mount Hor, taking the r

For your sake...Forgive

MARK 11:25-26 NKJ 25 "And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. 26 "But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses." You must forgive others. No matter what they have done. It is the command of God. But it was given for our benefit. To not forgive hurts you. Refusing to forgive is like swallowing poison daily expecting the other person to die. It will destroy you. Jesus said we should forgive when we stand praying. So we don't have to wait until people apologize. Nor does forgiveness require a long time. Forgiveness is not a feeling. It is a decision to quit holding something against someone. When we forgive people we must release them and forget it. You may think it is impossible to forgive someone who has deeply wronged you. With God it is possible. He never asks us to do something we cannot do.  LUKE 6:35-38 N

Everything beautiful in its time…

ECCLESIASTES 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time…  Nothing happens to you by accident when you have God in your life. Even a “chance” meeting with someone is part of His plan to set in motion His blessings in your life. Such was the divinely arranged meeting of the Shunammite woman and Prophet Elisha. It led to the prophet pronouncing over her the blessing of a miracle child even though she was barren and her husband was old. (2 Kings 4:8–17) A few years later, it was this friendship with the man of God, which saw her through a crisis when her son fell seriously ill and died—Elisha raised her son back to life. (2 Kings 4:18–37)  When God is the one orchestrating the events in your life, neither lack nor danger nor destruction can affect you. When famine hit the land, the Shunammite woman’s family did not suffer because through Elisha, God had told them to leave the land. They went to the land of the Philistines and dwelt there throughout the seven years of famine.

Esteem Others Better

PHILIPPIANS 2:3 NKJ 3 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.  When you start thinking you are better than other people, you are on dangerous ground. It leads to actions opposite to divine love. Be on guard! The Bible warns us, and we should take heed. Of course it's not just what we think of others that's important, but how we treat others. However, thoughts always precede and determine actions. So, we must guard our thoughts.  PHILIPPIANS 2:3 NET 3 . . . treat one another as more important than yourself. Yes, every one of us is better in some way(s) than some other person or persons. But not one of us is superior in every way to everyone else. Of even more importance is that we should not value a human being by their looks, abilities or accomplishments, but by their value to God. God is the true judge of human worth and He thinks that person you are tempted to look down upon is

A Faith Fight

1 TIMOTHY 6:12 NRS 12 Fight the good fight of the faith; take hold of the eternal life, to which you were called and for which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.  Too many people have the idea that if something is God's will for them to have that it will just automatically happen without any effort or involvement on their part. Not so! We have to cooperate with God. We must believe what He says. We must resist doubt and fear. To walk in the fullness of blessing God desires for us, we must fight the good fight of faith.  Israel was our example. 1 CORINTHIANS 10:11 NRS 11 These things happened to them to serve as an example, and they were written down to instruct us, on whom the ends of the ages have come. They had to fight the giants in the land to possess what God said was already theirs. The promised land belonged to them already because God had given it to them. But it was still inhabited by others (including giants), who had to be driven o

A WAY OF ESCAPE

PSALM 23:5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.  The table is set. The bread and wine are there, and Jesus says to you, “Come, My child, partake.” But you tell Him, “Lord, I am unworthy!” You are afraid to come to the Lord’s table perhaps because you have been taught that if you partake in your “unworthy” state, you will come under God’s fiery judgment. My friend, Jesus has washed you whiter than snow and qualified you with His own blood, so you are as worthy as worthy can be! The most humble thing you can do now is to acknowledge His perfect sacrifice and accept His invitation with gladness.  In 1 Corinthians 11, Paul tells the church how to partake of the Lord’s Supper so that they will not drink judgment to themselves. The word “judgment” in verses 29 and 34 is krima in the original Greek text. It refers to a divine sentence. And in the context of this passage, the divine sentence refers to sickness. But

Glorify God In Death

ECCLESIASTES 3:1-2 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;  Death is a part of life we cannot escape. The Bible does not say a certain time has been determined for you to die. It says it has been appointed for us to die once. After death there will be judgment (not reincarnation.) HEBREWS 9:27 KJV 27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: There is a time to die. When you have lived a full life, then it is time to face death. It is also a good time to die when you can glorify God by your death. Too many people think life is to be grasped at any cost. Whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's, and we should seek to glorify Him and please Him.  JOHN 21:19 KJV 19 This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me. ROM
