A Disciple's Creed
A poem by Luke Sullivan
There's a wide open road, paved with desires. We follow this path, and end up on fire. "Don't be too pushy... don't want to offend." but i'm not pushing, i'm pulling you freind. out of the darkness and into this light. to stand by in silence, just wouldn't be right. I'll never keep silent, this message of Grace. Even if you attack me or spit in my face. Because I walked that road, and I cried the tears... still I wouldn't listen I wasted those years. I stood my ground, I wouldn't believe. till the ground fell away, and I fell on my knees. I still have my problems, I still have some pain. But I wear a new robe, pure white, without stain. It's not I who saves, but the Spirit within, I can only testify... I know where I've been. Though sometimes frustrated, I've counted the cost... with Jesus beside me, I seek out the lost.
